Syndi Shefer is a true gift! She is so sweet and patient with our son yet she still has the ability to get him to work, all while being kind and engaging. Despite her knowledge being truly extensive and beyond impressive, she still continues to train and educate herself. She is so easy to work with and is great at rolling with whatever comes up. We are impressed with both how she interacts with our son and what she teaches him. Not only does she teach him the things that we hoped for but she has introduced him to new concepts that are crucial (and not things most people would think of). Syndi is absolutely amazing. We first met Syndi at a clinic and now we see Syndi privately. Aside from having the patience and nurturing of a Mom, Syndi is very knowledgeable and keeps herself educated on the latest techniques to help kids with speech delays. My son is hard of hearing and very delayed in his speech. I have seen incredible growth in him since we’ve been with Syndi. He enjoys going to speech, which hasn’t always been the case. Syndi is such a great speech therapist. I was skeptical when we had to do tele-therapy due to COVID, but Syndi was so patient and always had fun and exciting games to keep it new and interesting for my 3 year old. Syndi not only does a wonderful job teaching my daughter, but she also recognizes the importance of showing me how to correct her articulation and giving me the tools to work with her on my own as well. My daughter has learned so much in a short period of time thanks to Syndi!

Syndi has been working with my son for over two years - from Kindergarten to second grade. I have seen significant improvement and growth since we started. Syndi is always prepared for each session, on time, and professional. She is very knowledgeable and competent in her field. She is also very responsive to emails and texts. More importantly, she is great with kids. We can tell that she truly cares for the kids. My son looks forward to each week's speech therapy session, more so than some of his other extracurricular activities. We have seen three or four other speech therapists all over Orange County since my son was 2 years old, and Syndi is by far the best. I would highly recommend her!

Syndi is an amazing speech therapist! Our third grade son is on the shy end and she was able to get him to open up to talk with her and helped him resolve his speech issues within 6 months when we were previously informed elsewhere that it may take a few years. She is patient, kind and a joy to work with. Our son always looked forward to his time with her and asked me every week when she was coming. Syndi was able to craft an individualized plan to cater to what our son needed and made it so fun at the same time. We cannot recommend her highly enough.
